To celebrate, please join us for drinks and networking, as well as a lively panel discussion about diversity and accessibility in tech education, focusing on the importance of everybody having the right to learn and fulfil their passions.
Leading entrepreneurs from organisations including WhiteHat, CodeBar, EdAid and Women Who Code, along with Flatiron School, will join together to share their insight on this topic, and discuss what opportunities already exist, as well as what needs to be done, to ensure this aim is achieved.

Most recently, Gen was awarded the title of MVP (Most Valuable Professional) by Microsoft.

Avi Flombaum is a programmer, teacher, and co-founder + Chief Product Officer at Flatiron School, now a WeWork company. He has helped thousands of people learn to code, get new jobs, and start new lives as programmers. Before he started Flatiron School he was the CTO of a hedge fund managing over $60 million of investments, and founded the a company, Designer Pages, a social application for architects and interior designers. As a programmer and technology thought leader, Avi has had the opportunity to teach supermodels like Karlie Kloss to code and speak about the future of tech skills at conferences around the world like Facebook’s F8. Avi is excited about the next phase of Flatiron School’s growth and continuing to build technology that has the potential to change a person's life.
